history
since 2010, lampblack has been the aegis under which karen elizabeth bishop has confected poetry objects. lampblack press was conceived in 2020 out of a desire to make a home for cross-national, multilingual, and collaborative works of experimental poetry and poetry objects. it launches, finally, in 2026 with the publication of monostitch, which brings together over 100 poets & writers in a collaborative collection of one-line poems.
